This free series is geared towards the needs and interests of individuals operating in a healthcare or research setting, however, the public and other interested stakeholders are welcome and encouraged to attend.
In this dynamic lecture, Dr. Rieb will explain how opioids not only relieve pain but can also induce pain with both use and withdrawal. She will share some of her research on opioid withdrawal associated injury site pain (WISP) and discuss clinical implications.
