Sugar, The Not So Sweet Addiction

This free series is geared towards the needs and interests of individuals operating in a healthcare or research setting, however, the public and other interested stakeholders are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Learning Objectives:
1) Identify the effects of sugar on brain function and reward pathways
2) Explore the complexities of food cravings and food related choice from a neurological & perspective breastfeeding
3) Investigate the crossover between substance addiction, food addiction and poorly & regulated food choices
4) Consider the need for dietary education changes and public health policy advocacy
A light lunch will be provided. We strongly encourage guests to RSVP as soon as possible to ensure sufficient food and space. (Please note that you will not need to bring your registration ticket(s) to the event.)
