Kevin Hollett is the Associate Director, Communications at the BC Centre on Substance Use (BCCSU). Kevin oversees all of the BCCSU’s communications, from media relations to digital engagement. Kevin’s communications background has focused on public health and human rights. His experience includes working with international organizations and community-level non-profits, where he has developed campaign, advocacy, and digital engagement strategies, and provided government and media relations support. Before joining BCCSU, he was the director of communications for Pivot Legal Society, a non-profit organization that uses the law to address the root causes of poverty and social exclusion. Prior to that he managed communications and media relations for the BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS. Kevin is also the former editor-in-chief of Megaphone, a magazine sold on the streets of Vancouver that provides employment opportunities for homeless and low-income people.
