Dr. Paxton Bach

Dr. Paxton Bach, MD, is an Addiction Medicine Fellow with the BC Centre on Substance Use and an Internal Medicine Fellow with the University of British Columbia (UBC). Dr. Bach’s clinical and research interests lie in the development of evidence-based approaches towards the treatment of addictions, with an emphasis on stimulant use disorders, the management of complex medical co-morbidities in patients with concurrent substance use disorders, and exploring innovative ways to improve the care of this vulnerable population.

Dr. Bach completed a Master of Science in Experimental Medicine at UBC before completing his medical degree at Queen’s University. He returned to UBC for his residency in internal medicine prior to joining the fellowship program.
