  1. Describe the evolving landscape and clinical effects of synthetic cathinones.
  2. Recognize and manage acute toxicity using a syndrome-based approach when synthetic cathinones are suspected, or when the specific substance is uncertain.
  3. Assess for synthetic cathinone withdrawal and stimulant use disorder and use harm reduction strategies to support ongoing care.
