“Adapting Substance Use Care During Extreme Events”

By the end of this BC ECHO on Substance Use session, participants will be able to:
1) describe potential disruptions to substance use care during extreme events,
2) identify risks associated with specific extreme events for people who use drugs, and
3) describe strategies to adapt standard care during extreme events
BC ECHO on Substance Use program brings together primary care providers and interdisciplinary addiction experts in a virtual network. Providers hear expert advice guided by the latest evidence, share resources, expand collective knowledge, and enhance expertise in the treatment and management of substance use disorders. Sessions are hosted over Zoom.
