Presented by Dr. Mona Kwong, PharmD, this BC ECHO on Substance Use session will describe the expanded scope of care for pharmacists and how it relates to substance use, describe client-centred approaches to support retention, compare emergency supply and pharmacist prescription extensions, and describe how the expanded scope of practice for pharmacists can help support clients through systems of care.
BC ECHO on Substance Use program brings together primary care providers and interdisciplinary addiction experts in a virtual network. Providers hear expert advice guided by the latest evidence, share resources, expand collective knowledge, and enhance expertise in the treatment and management of substance use disorders. Sessions are hosted over Zoom.
