Webinar: Clinical Management of Medetomidine-Related Presentations

May 11, 2026

12:00 PM – 1:30 PM PT

The BC Centre on Substance Use is pleased to offer this upcoming webinar on the Clinical Management of Medetomidine-Related Presentations. This webinar is intended for clinicians managing medetomidine-related care in acute settings, with a focus on identifying key clinical features and offering practical insights into clinical decision-making around management approaches. We are pleased to feature guest clinicians from Philadelphia, PA, who bring extensive experience to this dialogue-oriented session.

Philadelphia is widely viewed as the epicentre of medetomidine-adulterated unregulated drugs, where clinicians have been managing an increasing volume of complex medetomidine-related cases since 2024. Real-world case studies will be discussed, and time for Q&A will be provided: we encourage attending clinicians to come with practice-based questions.
