  2. Identify the core biopsychosocial vulnerabilities that predispose individuals to affective dysregulation.
  3. Apply a three-stage clinical framework (De-escalation, Stabilization, and Treatment) to effectively support long-term recovery.

What’s New in Addiction Medicine? is a lunch-time series featuring clinicians and researchers from BCCSU’s interdisciplinary fellowship program, who will deliver the latest research and information on novel, evidence-based addiction medicine topics.

This free series is geared towards the needs and interests of individuals operating in a healthcare or research setting, however, everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.
